Crusher dust is a finely crushed stone material made up of ultra-fine particles typically smaller than 1/4". Its compactable nature makes it an excellent choice for paver bases, walkways, leveling applications, and hardscape projects where a firm, stable surface is needed.

Common Uses

Paver Base & Joint Filler
Commonly used beneath pavers, bricks, and flagstone to create a stable, level base. Can also be swept into paver joints to help lock materials in place and reduce weed growth.

Walkways & Pathways
Compacts into a smooth, semi-solid surface, making it ideal for garden trails, natural pathways, and walking paths.

Grading & Surface Leveling
Perfect for filling low areas, smoothing sub-grades, and leveling surfaces before installing stone, gravel, or pavers.

Retaining Walls & Hardscape Projects
Frequently used as a base material beneath retaining walls, stone steps, edging, and other landscape construction projects.

Concrete & Asphalt Applications
Can be used as a fine aggregate material in certain concrete and asphalt mixes depending on project requirements.

Erosion Control & Water Retention
Helps reduce erosion and stabilize surfaces in landscape and drainage applications while retaining some moisture within the compacted material.

Limited Soil Amendment Use
Occasionally used to introduce trace minerals into soil, although it is more commonly utilized for construction and hardscape applications.
