Our standard Fill Dirt is an unscreened material that may contain clay, roots, rocks, and other natural debris. It is commonly used as a cost-effective solution for filling deep areas, raising grade elevations, and stabilizing ground where premium screened topsoil is not required.
Fill dirt is best suited for large fill applications and base work rather than finish grading or shallow surface areas. For areas intended for grass, planting, or final landscape finish, we recommend adding screened topsoil or garden soil over the fill dirt.
Due to this being a natural material, we cannot guarantee the elimination of grassy byproducts, roots, seedlings, or organic contents.
Landscaping & Grading
Used to fill low spots, level uneven terrain, and create proper grading for drainage and site preparation.
Slope & Drainage Control
Ideal for building up slopes and directing water away from foundations, structures, and problem areas.
Foundation Preparation
Frequently used to create a stable base beneath homes, sheds, garages, and other construction projects where additional ground support is needed.
Road & Driveway Base Work
Used during road construction and driveway preparation to build up and stabilize the ground before installing stone, gravel, or asphalt.
Erosion Control
Can help reinforce embankments and slopes to reduce erosion and ground washout over time.
Backfilling Utility Lines & Post Holes
Commonly used for backfilling around pipes, utility trenches, retaining walls, and fence or deck posts to provide support and stability.
